I just have to put this out there to the masses and see what you all think.
A family member recently adopted a puppy who is not quite a year old. The puppy is a Jack Russell mix, most likely part Dachshund. The shelter gave the puppy a free health exam at a local vet. The vet says the puppy is in good health but that they should have all the puppy's teeth extracted except for the front teeth.
To the tune of $150.00.
I have never in my life and years of pet ownership of all sorts of animals and breeds, heard of such a thing.
Have you?
What's the deal on this?

That sounds like complete B.S. to me. I'm guessing it's just a way for some vet to make an easy $150.00.
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

That's exactly what we thought! It's not happening.
The teeth are going to fall out. If there is a "build up of tartar", the puppy's teeth can be cleaned on a regular basis and with things to chew on.
I've never heard of it ever in my life.
Did she say, "brush the puppy's teeth"? Nope, fork over 150$ and she'll extract them.
Seriously...

Besides, the poor dog will be miserable without his/her back teeth.
It sounds like they aren't going to do it, but just to make sure, please talk them out of it.

Not to worry. They rejected the idea as soon as they heard it.
