Lucid Dreaming

Post by _The Nehor »

I had my first fully conscious lucid dream last night completely by accident. It was the best thing ever. The environment was completely under my control. I called back an old friend to talk to. I reversed gravity, used the Force, and burned down a building I hate that knocked down a childhood playground. Then I flew through the stars and visited Pluto and proved conclusively that it is not a planet. Good times.

Will try to do this intentionally at some point.

Honey, that was the peyote.

I've been lucid dreaming for as long as I've been dreaming.

It was only in recent years that I found out that NOT everybody does it.

I envy you Shades. I've had dreams where I've recognized that I was dreaming but never on a fully conscious level. I've manipulated the dreams on a minor level to suit my whims but this is the first time I've had complete control over it and knew it.

I've been able to control my dreams from a young age. I developed a technique in my own mind to control my sleep in order to prevent the constant nightmares I had and recurring dreams. Over time I learned I could control every dream I had between closing my eyes and falling into a deep dreamless state, however it made me physically exhausted (as I would skip a stage of my sleep pattern) after several years and I had to work to get myself out of that habit, I believe it is the cause of my hallucinations. I can very easily go into a lucid dream but it is very easy to do it more than you should when you can just go straight into it and I had at one point in my life preferred dreaming to actual real life.

Never tried it, but thanks for bringing the subject up. I have been meaning to try this stuff, this has been a reminder for me. Perhaps I will do so and post. I have had lucid dreams but rarely and it's been a long time. I love God's creations, especially the plants.

Awww now that is cute. I once was like that hehehe.

Pulled it off again yesterday. I got to fly and had a great time. I found I could control a lot of it but some events occurred that I didn't expect. An old friend showed up but I took that in stride and raced him across the Himalayas.

I want to state unequivocally that the green Twileki dancer that looked like my first crush was NOT planned but was welcomed.
