He's a Hebrew expert guy. A straight shooter from what I know, sort of on the fringe of apologetics.

Why would he be at this meeting?
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Hello,

Well, if it is Mr. John Hamer I can see the reason for secrecy. He is a polyamorous homosexual with an impeccable knowledge of Mormon history. I am not sure the Maxwell Institute would want to be associated with an openly gay man in light of Proposition 8.

That said, I have nothing but the highest regard for Mr. Hamer. He is clearly an expert in all things related to Mormon history.

Very Respectfully,

Doctor CamNC4Me

Well, I'm glad to see John Hamer getting involved.

The Maxwell Institute would be a lot better with an awesome Miami Vice style soundtrack.

The notion that these clowns (DCP et al.) might believe that whatever they discussed and hold privy has any effect upon the average intelligent human being is a bit humorous.

On a more sobering note, why would the FP commission an organization such as the MI to steady the Ark when biblical history clearly demonstrates the fate of anyone that makes the attempt?

Considering there was no meeting I think it's more humorous that these clowns (Scratch, Gad et al.) have to concoct these meetings for some reason.

Seeing Nehor call people gullible idiots is like seeing a lunatic accuse others of delusion... oh wait. It's not like that. It is that.

It's pretty funny to hear that charge leveled by someone who believes a 14 year old went into the forest and saw god. If that doesn't scream "gullible idiot" then nothing does.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

And herein hangs the entire tale. Nothing seeks to fill the vacuum of silence like the combined imaginations of Drs. Scratch, Shades, and their dutiful partners in crime. Lol!

He is, indeed!

What can it mean?

Did someone kill the barber? With the missing scroll? In the MI conference room? :shock!:

Who is Paul Hoskisson?

Why would he be at this meeting?

Professor Hoskisson is the Director of the Maxwell Institute, and compared to those vicious hyenas Peterson and Midgley, he is an extraordinarily nice guy. He never said anything about my long hair. At least not to my face. As the editor of The Journal of the Book of Mormon and Other Restoration Scripture, he’s even agreed to publish a paper I’ve written—as long as I don’t reveal the fact that Darth Nibley … er … Hugh Vader … ah, nevermind.

Ahhh... another BYU employee. For a second there, I almost respected him. Thanks.
