I see.
Well, as an amateur Dzhugashvili-Stalin scholar my interest was perked by your list and I thought there might be some significance to it. I would still be cautious in applying the label "criminal" to revolutionaries like Lenin, and while Stalin clearly went berserk, it's not quite as simple as just that.

Looks like she did. I hear the GOP has a tendency to pick the least likely to win sorta like the national GOP picked John McCain. Besides the recent open mike gaffe (which will not affect her much at all imho), what is it about Fiorina that makes her untenable? Her views are quite mainstream.
She opposes abortion. She supported Prop 8. She says (more rightly than wrongly) that AGW is inconclusive. She opposes cap and trade. Good things like that etc. Sure Boxer can hit her on some stuff, but Republicans have to learn to get in there and play hard and dirty to beat the Democrats at their own game. Perhaps a more polished candidate would not be able to do this?
There is so much ammo on Boxer regarding the issues that any GOP candidate against her who couldn't control the message every day from now to election day is an incompetent campaigner.
...
Yes, Carly Fiorina clearly won here GOP Primary in California, and I am fully supporting Carly Fiorina over the arrogant ultra-liberal Barbara Boxer. However, I am neither supporting Harry Reid or Sharron Angle in that race.

Okay, sure, no idea ... Adjust for R&D and see what you get - be sure to give full and proper credit for U.S. dominance of biopharma. There are still a host of factors unique to the U.S. system that result in higher costs per capita - factors mitigated in other countries. Rising costs - and the "retail" nature of U.S. health care, widespread use of expensive technology, costs to enter the medical profession and resulting salaries, actual and potential litigation, etc. The fact is that the incremental U.S. costs do not, in general, result in materially improved outcomes.
It may be that you have a myopic view of the world, dunno.

Re: Election 2010
So you would be happy with Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Warren Jeffs or any other criminal instead of the duly elected representatives of these States?
We would be happy with any non-leftist (such as all the personages you mentioned above), as well as DSA member Barbara Boxer.
By the way, am I correct in assuming that you are not aware that duly elected representatives can be replaced at the ballot box by other duly elected representatives?

Re: Election 2010
Amazing how other countries provide universal health care with lower mortality rates and higher age expectancy, all at much lower cost.
The reality is that these other countries provide universal healthcare at ultimately unsustainable costs (the Canadian and U.K. systems are in the worst shape) with concomitant continuous declines in the quality and availability of care, loss of personal freedom in medical decision making, the rationing of care, and the decline of the economy relative to the massive taxation/borrowing necessary to sustain such systems.
For heaven's sake do some of your own homework here.

Lenin is, without question, one of the greatest criminals of modern world history. He took control of an emerging country in a violent coup and then imposed a brutal totalitarian dictatorship upon the Russian people without their consent and without even a particle of democratic process or legitimacy. Lenin ruled and crushed dissent through a policy of continual, relentless naked terror, intimidation, and political repression (the "red terror"). Lenin organized and inaugurated the gulag system, not Stalin. All Stalin did was continue and expand the policies started by Lenin and follow them to their conceptual, psychological and moral conclusions, including the Soviet Union's long standing imperialism and military adventurism.
The cult of personality tied to Stalin was a unique element, but hardly incidental to revolutionary socialism. A similar cultus has long stayed attached to Mao Tse Tung, Che Guavara, and Fidel Castro, other heroes of the Left during the 20th century.

Sharron Angle is against putting fluoride in drinking water, which makes her both a kook and an arch-conservative. Wanting to phase out Medicaid and Social Security simply makes her an enemy of the people.
