It SHOWS other boards that religious discussion between LDS and non-LDS CAN be done respectfully and civilly. It shows we can disagree, but name-calling, mockery, and insults are not only unnecessary, but are immature and should not be tolerated.
Clearly, this woman has not been on the other end of *insert any given apologist's name here* wrath. Be it passive-aggressive jabs by Mr. Peterson, or overtly hostile digs by *insert any given apologist's name here* she would do well to stay on their good side lest her fantasy be shattered.

To be fair though.... Really [Obama]'s more Marxist/Communist/Socialist/Liberal/Progressive than anything else. His hatred of America and wanting to make it low comes more from that than anything else. He's mostly only Muslim because of how he was raised and his belief structures, not that he's entirely Muslim alone. So, I wouldn't be surprised if he said it in private to show that's who he is "inside", in contrast to what he shows on the outside.
I'm a bishop of a single's ward. I don't believe that I've ever asked anybody about masturbation, but more people than I could possibly count have voluntarily brought it up to me.
I'm sure that I'll be pronounced a relic of history and a soon-to-be-extinct dinosaur, too, but I support the Church's teachings on sexual behavior -- including what it has to say about masturbation -- and I hope I'll be pardoned for my failure to be convinced that everything (or even much) in contemporary society's attitudes toward sexuality represents progress.
Let's have a shout out to that reasonable man who always directly answers difficult questions about the claims of the LDS Church, and does so with dignity, class, and flair. Of course you already know that I mean the one and only selek.
