What Greek root?

Telos. It means "completion," "maturity," "end," etc. That's how I view it, although it just as likely could constitute a conflation of "celestial" and "terrestrial." Whichever is the case, it's immaterial to the fact that, with common usage, it becomes a legitimate word in every sense of the word (no pun intended).

Only in the same sense that orc, or hobbit is a word, and only among LDS or their critics. Celestial and Terrestial could have been applied in everyday speech, telestial was made up and came into existence in the 19th century...for a reason, to name a "third heaven' that Joseph Smith needed in his ideology. Given the meaning of celestial and terrestial, and thier context in the cor. text, how does telestial even make any sense?

Telestial is simply not a word with meaning outside of the LDS church.

Your question is like me asking you where and what is heavenly and earthy, whether in a spiritual or secular context.

If you would like a exegesis of the Cor. 15 verses let me know and I'll walk you through it, it's a real easy one to understand it has to do with Paul's teaching of mans resurrected body.

The names of the three level of Glory

Celestial has three levels and the highest is for those who will enter into the continuation of seeds and basically be Gods and populate their own world

The second level of the Celestial has not yet been fortold who will inherit this estate.

The third will be for worthy LDS who do not enter into eternal marriage, they will be servants to those above.

Terrestrial is for the good people, those that may or may not believe in some faith, even some less worthy LDS members who were weak here, and stumbled with keeping the laws and ordinances of the gospel...I have heard it taught that there are different levels here, but have never studied or read much on that.

The third is the telestial, that is were the wicked of this world, with unrepentant hearts go, but this place is better than this life, here on earth.

The SOP will go to outer darkness but this is also debatable in many ways?

I imagine Swedenborg would have used the word telestial if it had been coined at that time. It fits in with his thoughts concerning the three kingdoms. Swedenborg even proposed the idea of Celestial marriages to go along with his idea of the Celestial kingdom.

I think if you took the time to consider this rationally, you'd realize that no word has ever existed that was not completely and utterly made up.
