Among many many other problems, I specifically disagree with "Kevin Mathie's" use of start contrasting hues, his stupid use of white space, his use of tables to divide the sections of his site (instead of div tags with float properties in CSS). Basically, this website burns my eyes just to look at it. I no longer care about the content unless it can be presented in a sane manner.

Would you like to read the question and try that again?

Perhaps you prefer to go to the official site of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to go gather information about the Facsimiles? Go there and garner all you can. Good luck. The church will keep you in the dark with their fancy little website. You'll get jack, boy, and have jack to show for it.

Lol - i think our narrow-minded little friend has made it clear that he doesn't really care for the content of the various websites he visits unless they impress him visually - much like a child who refuses to read a book that doesn't have pictures...He is exactly the type of gullible rube that the LDS church is hoping to excite and retain by throwing a bunch of money into the design of their content-less sites...I guess there is always a reason, no matter how pathetic, for believing momos to ignore the truth...

That's just an excuse. He is clearly attacking the messenger to try an avoid dealing with the message. I think he is starting to understand that Paul knows far more about the subject then he does and is trying to avoid it by attacking someones wed design.

Yet another crushing defeat for Simon Belmont.

In the "pre-rule 7" world, I no doubt would have been treated to a much harsher rebuke by Doctor Scratch, however, this is the more abated, refined Doctor Scratch. In a post rule-7 world, this is exactly what we need.

I would hardly call it "yet another crushing defeat for Simon Belmont" since there have not been any others. Simply because one declares it does not make it so. Of course, this is not to say that I imagine that I am never wrong -- I am wrong all the time, and I have admitted when I have been wrong on multiple occasions here. I admitted up front, on this thread, that I did not claim to have much knowledge about the subject. I wanted to see what the responses were to one of Nibley's articles, and I did.

No... this is not the case.

It was humor, Themis; a joke. I admitted up front that I was a bit naïve about this subject.

Seriously, that site burns my eyes. Have you seen it? Why do all critics' websites suck in the design area? Take Metcalfe's "Mormon Scripture Studies" -- can you understand how to navigate that thing? I should start an entire thread about this.
