Ah .. you are thinking about this?

A test case:
Could be worse. When do you think Google will add Reformed Egyptian? (Just to stop us getting banished to the Off-Topic forum).
My only qualification for joining in is that I think actually do (in a limited way) have to speak Latin from time to time as part of my job.

Gallia est omnis divisa in partes tres, quarum unam incolunt Belgae, aliam Aquitani, tertiam qui ipsorum lingua Celtae, nostra Galli appellantur. Hi omnes lingua, institutis, legibus inter se differunt.
All Gaul is divided into three parts, one of which the Belgae inhabit, the Aquitani another, a third of those who in their language are called Celts, in our Gauls, the third. All these in language, customs, and laws differ from each other.

I did not have a faith crisis. I discovered that the Church was having a truth crisis.

That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

Hey, Simon. Did you compose this? There are numerous errors in it, but I am off to class to lecture on Roman religion.

I did not know that! I wish I could speak Latin. I loved learning about it when I got a BA in classics -- but that was a long time ago and I remember very little.
May I ask why you speak Latin for your job? I thought it was a "dead" language (although not really dead, of course).
Edited to add: Mormonism.

No, I did not. I used Google Translate, which I just found out today, now translates LATIN!
This really excites me, if it is at all accurate.

Its a better than average Latin to English translator, but that pronunciation? I thought I was listening to modern Italian!

Like I said, its better than some online translation engines, but I put a few test cases through it and found some odd errors.
I'm off to class too, so I can't explain further.

Soon, because then Google can stop using Hebrew. Reformed Egyptian takes up less space than Hebrew.

How do I enroll in Cassius' introductory Latin classes? I want to learn Latin!
