Mildly entertaining, given the great length of the response:

"It is possible that in the course of her extensive Internet Mormon-baiting, MCB may have managed to provoke some Latter-day Saint somewhere into retaliating against her provocations"

LOL!!! I wish I could keep this Image quickly available. Seem to be using it quite frequently.

Actually, he has surprised me with some pm's. I think he is surprised that I am willing to make some modifications in response to his review.

I lie not. I got a headache when I read this by the gentle Debby talking about those violent gays:
And to compare it to the early church members facing persecution is just ridiculous. For one thing they just wanted to live their lives in peace and be left alone. They weren't trying to change laws to make them accepted, though they certainly would like the laws in force to protect them.

mfbukowski,....again-

About this board:

Convoluted nothing. They have ads on their site and get paid to stir up controversy. They are just aspiring to make some real money but everyone has to start somewhere. You can buy anything in this world for money.

Just be a little more patient, Shades, you will get there in time.

Again demonstrating that mfbukowski is a sock puppet poseur satirizing a TBM. He got the quote wrong; it's, "You can buy anything in this world with money."

LOL! If he only knew that any money this site generates goes straight back into hosting fees, nothing more. Only Keene sees the donations; I never have an inkling about how much or how often people donate or how much the site gets from advertising, if anything.

This site's legal owner still lives in the same house that he did when this site first came online. He doesn't have many (if any) more material goods than he did when we started out. I myself have made a grand total of $0 from advertising, donations, etc.
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

Then you've made the same amount of money Dan says he's made on his apologetics.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

And all of DCP's earnings have come from him teaching at BYU.

I wonder if BYU is aware of the countless hours DCP spends writing apologetic material?

It's too bad. I've made billions on writing anti-mormonism. But this guy named Meldrum sold me this Lamanite bridge and, uh, well.

I believe that instead of idiotic institutional navel-gazing and smug presentist condemnation of those who went before us, we ought to be anxiously engaged in proclaiming the restored Gospel to those who might feel some residual prejudice against the Church because of that ban. Because, make no mistake: the only real prejudice that has any relevance at all is the prejudice against the Church of Jesus Christ that unprincipled demagoguges like to stir up over this issue.

USU78 wrote (in his own recent thread):

I've been stewing about the name Laban, לבן,for a number of years now, ever since I saw that one of the possible meanings was spoiled milk (from my Langenscheidt's). "White" appears to be the principal meaning, but, given how both Labans in scripture (Jacob's and Nephi's secondary nemeses) are presented, the primary meaning of white, pure/high-status/righteous, appears to me to be meant ironically.

Given how Nephi's Laban is "poured-out" at he end of his life, like curdley milk would be, tossed out into the street, and how Jacob's Laban is a veritable "whited wall," it's hard to imagine that the name is coincidentally assigned.

Really? for a number of years?

My lord.
