You know Simon, it's often best to let sleeping dogs lie. You have ranted and promoted this whole Joseph's thread to everyone and I am sure everyone has looked it over and the only one who is looking like the fool now is you.

Often when something controversial gets put out there, it's best to leave it alone and it simly goes away. Even the church knows that sometimes it's just best to keep quiet about things, because talking about them even in a negative manner just draws attention to it.

I don't see any other faith-defender getting their panties in a bunch about this probably because they know it's not worth it to talk about it. So either you just don't understand or you really do have alterior motives which I have always thought because the way you put things out there.

Oh, you mean like campaigning for gay people not to have equal protection of the law when neither having children nor having the ability to have children is part of the legal definition of marriage anywhere in the United States?

That kind of thing?

It's my thread. Start your own.

Siiiimmoonnnn! I'm commenting on your thread again!

Better start another campaign to perma-ban someone who says things you don't like.

My sister was molested by our foster father from the time she was 11 until she left home at 18.

I later found out that she had reported this abuse to our ward bishop several times and he did NOTHING.

My sister killed herself after a 24 year battle with the demons of depression.

My sister is dead after a life of misery because a Mormon bishop did not do the right thing.

I am sorry about your sister, really and truly I am. No one should have to go through that -- ever.

But, did your foster father molest your sister because he was Mormon? Because that is what Joseph is saying happens.

Yes, if someone did that, it would be wrong.

So you condemn these groups as well?

Wow.

You know that's not his point, Simon. You also know that you are garnering readership for your much-loathed Joseph as well. You would do well to remember the lesson of Nietzsche...
