I'd tend to agree with you on the manslaughter part. I don't think Chauvin intended to kill Floyd. He probably didn't understand how fragile George Floyd's health was after swallowing his pills in an effort to hide them. The lady cop who shot Daunte Wright will go to jail for manslaughter as well. She obviously didn't intend to shoot him.

He's clearly guilty of third degree murder at the very least. No need to prove intent, only need to prove his actions resulted in the death and that he has no regard for human life.

I haven't watched the yet trial today since I've been out running around all day. Last I heard, the defense was expected to rest it's case today. The jury would have off Friday and all weekend. Closing arguments the beginning of next week and I did hear the judge tell the jury members to pack a bag because they were going to be sequestered during deliberation.

It won't be long now.
