Hi All!
Worth watching, I think. Of course it will ruffle some feathers. . .
Written and performed by yours truly. Video work by my grandson.

Re: Soldier's Story
I just read this poem in a memorial gathering in my condo. Where it was much appreciated by the folks. Many of whom served in WWII. None were offended by it. And rather endorsed the sentiment that it is the wrong people who are subject to the risks of death and disability. . .
Maybe our populace is not quite out from under the Yoke-Of-Ages (ignorance) that decrees who are the sacrificial lambs led to the slaughter. . .
Warm regards,
Roger M.

I really enjoyed that clip, Roger. I think the tide is turning too, and hopefully there will be no more wars on a global scale like WW1 and WW2. Here's another of Angry Aussie's clips, this time about ANZAC Day. He's an interesting commentator in that while he tremendously respects war veterans and honours the dead in all wars, he has no time for politicians.
Are you a veteran yourself, Roger?

Roger, you did a great job!
I would love to live to see the end of war.

Sincere thanks to All!
Peace -- of mind, in homes and between individuals and nations -- is the objective of heart felt intelligence. No that is not an oxymoron. It is the purpose of human civility. One that we are closer to than ever before. That, in spite of current antagonisms, unethical practices, corruptions, prejudice and greed. All of which are long standing elements of a society based on many false premises. That they are woven into the better fabric, sustains the whole to evolve as good thinking unties our knots of ignorance, mistrust and fear. As has happened since the beginning of thinking, and continues to happen at an exhilarating rate. More thanks to scientific thought that to religious traditions. . .
No, Ray I'm not a war vet. Born in 1933, I grew up during WWII. But I am a veteran of a many faceted life. . . Lots of learning but very few regrets has made it one I would not trade.
Nice to know the good folks here! Warm regards, Roger Morrison

Something not many people can say, Roger. You are a good soul. Would you be able to either PM or post that poem?

Thanks for your kind words Ray. I will try. Would an attachment work? I guess it would if I had your e-mail address. . .
