Is Mother in heaven a God?

Post by _Joseph »

With lds-inc shying away from what is even taught in the Temple ceremony(plurality of Gods), how do the leaders now look on Mother in Heaven? She may be one in particular as pertaining to this earth of just the head wrangler of the harem of babes who produced the few billion spirit children that are coming ever faster to get bodies.

Since she is part of what makes God a God(can't be in the top tier of the upline without being sealed to more than one woman according to Joe and Brigham and others), doesn't this make her God as well?

Spencer W. Kimball taught that God is husband and wife, sealed together.

Even Pharisees know that.

Huh!

I must admit that after years hanging out with y'all Mormons, this is the first time I have heard this suggested.

"A" god, or a partaker of godhood via the exalted priesthood
of her celestial companion?

It's doctrine: a man can't become a god without being sealed to a woman. Thus, both together constitute what it is to be God.

Though, I believe with Uncle Dale's proviso...

I wish I had the direct quote, but I don't remember him making that proviso.

Oh, I didn't mean Kimball, I just meant in general. However, as we know that was in the past, what matters is what the church is now, a living prophet Trump's a dead one, etc, etc.

Either way though, I think she is not believed to be a God in her own right.
