Dexter Season 5 Discussion Thread [spoilers]

I don't know if I'd call it the worst season (I wasn't overly thrilled by Season 3 - which is relative, of course; I mean, we are talking Dexter here), but I will say it certainly wasn't the best either.

But overall, I liked it. I'm glad they got rid of Rita and the kids for the most part, I liked Luman's character and Dexter's relationship to her, and I liked the plot to get all five of the rapists.

I am a little critical of the guy they got to play Jordon. I don't think he was believable as a successful motivational speaker OR a badass. Although I liked the final episode, it definitely was one of the weaker ones, and had absolutely no cliffhanger to speak of. It almost seemed like they left open the possibility of just cancelling the show the way it is.

Assuming there is a sixth season, I'd be quite surprised if Luman's not back. They just worked really well together. And I don't buy that her dark passenger is really gone. You don't just decide to kill people and then it goes away once you've done a couple (I say like I'm an expert on the serial killer experience). I don't know... that just didn't seem real to me.

Anyway, I'm sad it's already over and look forward to next season.

Ya dude, You are saying absolutely right. This show is now going to best position. I love to watch Dexter Online. Its every episode makes me excited to see its next episode to know what will be happen.
