Absolutely. Do you actually read the trash that is on this board? It's hateful, bigoted, anti-LDS material that repeatedly trashes on my religious beliefs. Can you defend this place as anything else?

I'm on record as not supporting hate from any source, and I've taken people to task for unfairly and hatefully attacking our church (it's still my church, too, Josh). See, for example, my memorable exchanges with thews.

But it's unfair to lump everyone here together as hateful bigots who trash our church. It's simply not true.

Absolutely. We lose a lot of good people to the manipulations and lies of the Anti-LDS group.

If I was ever lost, it wasn't from lies and manipulations, just my own conscience.

While you are not as bad as some of the others, you do support this place, do you not?

I support it as a place to discuss Mormonism, pro and con. I have no problem with that at all.

Course, I also noticed I got blamed for yet another "sock puppet". *eyeroll*. Course some of you are still too prideful enough to believe that I was the other one.

Why don't some of you move on? The LDS Church will continue to exist and people like me will continue to believe. No amount of pissing and moaning is gonna change that.

I am sort of new here. My participation is fairly sporadic and very inconsequential. I have always had the impression that the vast majority of posters view this board as place to sound of. I've never got the impression that people here are actively seeking to destroy the church. It seems like it is a small message board where a handful of people meet to discuss their ideas. Why do you have a problem with them (us) doing this. You could just not come here you know.

Your religious beliefs don't make you special, any more than your political opinions. You have no immunity from criticism just because you're in a religion. Sorry.

The problem, Buffalo, is you were sleeping in class when they taught you about morality, ethics, and treatment of others.

There is a big difference between criticism and what goes on here. Your inability to tell the difference is telling.

Christmas is coming up. Perhaps spend less time in a hate group like this and more time focusing on positive things. I know when I spend less time in these boards, I have a better attitude.

If it's any comfort, I stopped believing not because of the influence "anti-Mormons" but rather because of the influence of scientific fact, exacerbated by the incredibly weak apologetics of believers.
