Re: What about Facebook?
I started using Facebook after college, when all my friends scattered to the four winds. I just keep my information unavailable to anyone who isn't a friend, and only keep about 50 friends are so. That being said, I. Wouldn't mind at all being friends with a lot of the posters here.

I've never used it. I'm not sure what the advantage might be (my age showing again?).
I keep getting invitations to join from people I've never heard of. Are these some sort of scam? Or are these from people that just have my email for some reason and just invited everyone in their email address book?
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

If people you don't know are emailing you wanting you to join, I wouldn't trust that at all.

Thanks!
That's what I was thinking.

I like Facebook. Sure, there can be a lot of "Facebook drama" especially when you add your family members, but that can be avoided. If you're on Facebook, make sure to check out Mormon Gulag.

Re: What about Facebook?
Well, the thing is, even if I just have my "friends" listed, I still get all sorts of invites... some I seriously do not want. I do not want to hurt feelings, (which I have done), but what is a girl to do?
So, I close up shop. Then, when I want to see something on someones Facebook page I have to reopen.
ARrrghhh....
I feel like it is only a matter of time when we will all "have" to be on Facebook... just like we couldn't really live without email anymore.

I just use it to do things like point out what a nice dresser M. Obama is and that kind of thing.

By doing that you're only going to make Mark Zuckerberg and multi-billionaire.
