Well, you missed the best part of the thread where he attacked me personally and called me "a vicious little waste of bandwidth", among other things. They deleted all of the funny stuff off.
I think that he objected to the following two posts that I made. I have no idea why.
My comments are in bold.

The angel Moroni appeared to me as a werewolf one night when I was walking to my car. He chased me into the woods, pulled out a flaming sword, and swore that he'd kill me within 24 hours if I didn't start practicing polygamy. True story.
What? You don't believe it's true? Well, he also told me that there is unity in the universe. How does that make you feel? Good? See, I'm telling the truth.
What? Still don't believe me? Well, go pray about it. If you don't receive an answer, it's because you lack faith (and God will condemn you to hell for your unbelief).

And having done so, would you please explain its relationship to "angels and plates and revelation?"
Regards, Pahoran
Pahoran = deliberately obtuse about simple points.
While he's at it, he should also define the meaning of the words "define", "sexual relations", and "is" for you so that we don't have any misunderstandings here.

Only those folks could think that even more heavyhanded "moderation" in favor of apologists will facilitate discussion. I admit it: that board is more of a joke than I thought possible. Sad, really, when you think of some of the interesting discussion that used to happen there.
The pretense of that board is one of faith promotion, the only useful role for critics over there is to allow themselves to be dominated by the epistemic elite of Mormon Apologetics. Don’t want to be a punching bag? They’ll send you packing.
In my opinion, it’s one giant circus and illusion. They want a system of things where the doubter is shown MST where they’ll be told, “ See?!?!? Smart people believe, so you can too!” and then they’ll be lead by the hand over the MD&D where it would proudly be proclaimed, “ See!?!?! The critics of our Church have nothing to say of any import. All the questions have been answered.”
They want total control over what the doubter can see.
You need to fix your thread title. It should read:
I got banned from MAD :)

Sounds like you got pulled in by the gravity of Pahoran's doucheness. That man's personality is a black hole in more ways than one.

The funny thing is that they say exmos are bitter.
Remember when Pahoran accused John Corrill of projecting his own nascent pedophile fantasies upon Joseph Smith because John said that D&C 132 gave Smith the greenlight to have sex with Helen Mar Kimball?
Simon Belmont wrote:Yeah, seriously. You don't go into someone's house and not abide by their rules.
Simon, even being polite and respectful is not enough to keep you safe at MAD. Nor are rules enforced for all posters, otherwise Pahoran would have been one of the very first to be banished. The truer statement would be not to go to the neighborhood eccentric's house and expect non-capricious behavior on the owners part.

While some ex-LDs are, some are not. While some LDS are, some are not. According to a brief run through these threads, it does appear more ex-LDS are bitter then LDS. But that's just my assessment. I'm sure Pahoran is a sweety and misunderstood. Just like nearly every critic here who comes of as excessively bitter.
Love ya tons, Stem
I ain't nuttin'. don't get all worked up on account of me.
