Do ghosts sit around in chairs like you see in Star Wars in the Jedi council and discuss how they should reveal themselves to humans? Or do they reveal at random? If a human lives his whole life without seeing a ghost, would you say it's his own fault? Because I'm one of those sorry losers that doesn't get to see ghosts. I refuse to believe in them.

Maybe if I keep refusing, one will reveal itself to me. Although I might get a mean one for refusing to believe.... shutter.
Oh for shame, how the mortals put the blame on us gods, for they say evils come from us, but it is they, rather, who by their own recklessness win sorrow beyond what is given... Zeus (1178 BC)

I don't know if they are real or not, but my guess is that they mostly reveal themselves by accident.

I think you're in big trouble :).

OK, any experiences you might like to talk about? I've had a couple, but I'm still on the fence. I'm willing to admit that what happened to me may have been other than supernatural.

I've heard countless stories from relatives and friends, but there again, it's not proof.

I watch Ghost Adventures and Ghost Hunters all the time, plus Discovery's "Haunting" series was really cool.

I was easily scared by ghost stories when I was younger, but I've never seen anything that I concluded was a ghost, even when I believed in them.

I've watched them a few times, as well. The trouble is that I know the pressures of coming up with interesting episodes on a constant basis in reality shows. Hard to know how much is true and how much is manipulated to keep an audience.

Interesting point. What would it take for you to believe? I've seen something that I thought was a ghost at the time (I understand that seeing an apparition is very rare). I'm still not sure.

Hypothetically, what would you have to experience to make you sure?

Seeing a ghost clearly would make open to the possibility that they were real - as long as it was something clear and obvious, not just something out of the corner of my eye. Being able to capture it on film or take a picture would convince me that it wasn't just a hallucination.

This one has always interested me. Maybe because it's similar to what I saw. Taken by a Vicar in England of his church. He saw nothing when taking the photo.
