I have relentlessly stalked an LDS professor for the better part of a decade. Monitoring and criticizing his every move...

You have? News to me. You would be the first person I know to do such a thing. I imagine it happens, but I hadn't known any of the alleged stalkers personally until you offered this little confession.

I have met more BYU professors who believed they were being stalked than I have met bona fide stalkers. Thanks for admitting to it though. I had begun to think that all such claims were the product of the bizarre persecution complexes of the supposed victims.

Guess what? Everyone has the ability to get your IP address. If you imagine you are posting completely anonymously you are naïve. There are certain things about a person that are never anonymous. An IP address is one of them.

But fortunately for you, an IP won't tell anyone who you are or where you live. It will only display general information about the ISP who assigned the IP to you.

So go ahead continue being a chief Scratchpologist.

What you fail to understand, Darth J, is that God has called certain men to be in charge of His kingdom. You have no say in who these men are, and you have no say in how they handle the Lord's affairs. At the same time, He has commanded you, as a member of His Church, to pay tithing and generous offerings. So, you see, as far as you are concerned, there is no need to connect the dots between what you pay in tithing, and what His servants do with that money. You are judged for whether and what you pay, while they are judged by their handling of the money. The whole idea that you need to be "informed," when it is the omniscient God who will be judging all of us is just ludicrous. Are you saying that you will do a better job than God at managing the affairs of his Church?
