Malware

I just received my third or forth "Congratulations, you won" message from the ads that are now appearing on this forum.

Just out of curiosity, I followed the link. It said I had won a $1000.00 gift card at Walmart. Again, out of curiosity, I clicked the "redeem" button. At that point my virus protection program warned me that it was a "dangerous page". Either a virus or malware.

I can live with advertisements (although I hate them), but dangerous pages go beyond what should be allowed. I hope someone checks into this and puts it to an end.

I just tried that. I get a "You are not permitted to send e-mail to this user." response.

Here's what Mav had to say:

"Absolutely. I won't tolerate malicious ads. Please report them. As I'm working with a new advertising company I still am working out the bugs with my relationship to them it will definitely help if I know if they're putting malicious ads on the site. And then we can either move to a new company or fix the issue. Thank everyone for being patient while we work this out."

So there you have it.
