That is half the fun of posting here. The other half of the fun is seeing the rank hypocracy in many of the same people who have been waxing appopletic over what I said about women, men, and gay men, being rather free with or unbothered by the flood of pejoratives directed at me and my faith on this board. I can't help laughing often when participating here.

I used to lurk on Fair when it was open, for similar reasons. Half the fun was watching people like you warp everything and to witness the hypocracy and disease in the believers while they were simultaneously rather free with their flood of pejoratives directed at unbelievers and their lack of faith.

Then I stopped laughing because it is a childishly immateur motive which, upon making a checklist of my integrity goals, I didn't feel that it captured the essence of healthiness (Christ-like love) which I wished to emulate.

Have fun!

There are certain kinds of personalities on the internet who think it's a convincing defense to claim that, after having stuck foot firmly in mouth, they were kidding the whole time and it was all part of their master plan to manipulate the forum like puppets for their amusement.

I am not one to believe that movement towards Christ-like love entails giving up one's sense of humor. But, I can appreciate that you might, and I support you in the attainment of your worthy goal. [insert applaus here]

Wade, resorting to the canard of "PC" is about the emptiest gesture anyone can make in any argument. And if you can't remember the many times I've spoken out against sophomoric slurs about your sexuality, then you have a very short memory indeed. You should remember that I quit the very first iteration of this board over that very issue. However, after you showed yourself to be recalcitrant in your misogyny---I am referring to your 'blame the victim' arguments in a thread on Kimball's horrific remarks about rape victims and your unprovoked attacks on Kimberly Ann---I stopped defending you several years ago. You dug your own hole, buddy.

I guess sick and ugly humor is still classified as humor irregardless.

Some people also think it's fun to pull wings of flies, torment children until they start to cry, poke sticks at cats, etc. Different definitions of fun. One persons ugly humor and fun is another person giggles.

Whatever gets you off Wade.
Here I thought you were on the board to help educate people, but you're just here for giggles.

Good luck!

Your behavior shows very little integrity, which is no wonder that trait transfers into your Mormon apologetics.

I know some fantastic LDS women but I would never recommend them on a date with you. You're not good enough for them.

Predictable defensive reaction right on que. LOL

Those who think that "PC" is a canard tend to be those immersed in it--often selectively. It is like were Phyllis Diller to claim there is no such thing as a bad hair day. Hah!

And, while I do appreciate you coming to my defense years ago (even though I have no recollection of it), I won't hold against you your more recent sophmoric slurs directed at me and others. After all, you are evidently still reeling from your over-wrought twisting of my comments to Kimberlyann years ago, and the least I can do is allow you your humanity.

Thanks, -Wade Englund-

Predictable defensive reaction right on cue. (as you would say)

The only thing that wasn’t predictable about your reply were the word arrangements.

Carry on with your sense of humor.
Have fun!

See? This goes right along with the "I'm a puppet master! If I say something stupid it turns out I was only kidding!" persona.

I haven't experienced this much drama since I watched Le Mis a few nights ago. It seems as though I have just been raked over the coals by Javert.
