To be more specific you are liable for defamation per se.

You are a piss poor example of the Church and do the Church a disservice with you actions.

Even after attempting to read this post twice, it still remains essentially incoherent--it gives the impression you're already two sheets to the wind today. I guess it's already happy hour where you live.

Anyway, I think I get the gist of what you're trying to say, and I therefore enthusiastically encourage you to bring a suit against me for my "civilly liable defamation."

LOL! (Again)

AMEN! That is my point. I think that Will will be advised to "clean up his act" before publication of his work through the Church is allowed. Now, of course, if he is published through Signature, or some other private publication house, that is a different story. But if he is going to identify himself as a representative of the Church, he is going to be required to set a better example.

At least Pahoran is smart in that he posts with a pseudonym, so that his published apologetic persona and his message board persona remain separate. Will, however, did not have that type of foresight.

Rest assured that this windmill will invariably be tilted.

Kevin Graham is the veritable Mad Hatter of this board, and quite capable of saying upwards of six impossible things before breakfast.

This has got to be one of the strangest exchanges I've had with you. I'm puzzled.

yep you got me there, the post is very incoherent, sorry about that.

My incoherence does not change the fact of you have committed defamation per se I know there are several attorneys on this and other boards, they can confirm what you done.

As for filing a a civil action against you, it is not for me to file, but I would encourage those defamed to file such an action, which could be filed in Cedar City or the District there of.

Also, it is very interesting that you choose to make a commentary on my typing abilities yet are utterly mute on the piss poor example you are and how much of a hypocrite you are.

What in the hell are you talking about?

You mean you don't know?

Let me just point out (again) that you are putting forth a Herculean effort to avoid naming the "scholars" who are amused with your antics here on the board. As I've said, we already know that Midgley is one of them. But who else? Gee? Skousen? The more you avoid the issue, the more it becomes clear that this is exactly what your "handlers" at the MI are afraid of.

Will Schryver wrote:What a joke! If I spent the rest of today crafting a ten-page-long elaborate "apology" for every apostate evangelist I have ever "offended," I guaran-damn-tee you that tomorrow morning, business as usual would resume, and a brand new "Crucify Schryver" thread would be inaugurated by someone here.

You don't need to write ten pages, Will. Three simple words will do the trick.

But are you really saying you should not apologize for bad behavior because you are certain your apology will not be accepted?

Isn't an apology for bad behavior important regardless of how it is received?

And I think you are grievously misjudging the vast majority of posters on this board in how you predict your apology would be received.

Will Schryver wrote:You see, none of this has ANYTHING to do with my alleged vulgarity, or misogyny, or anything of the sort. It never has. It has everything to do with the fundamental conflict inherent to the apologist/apostate dynamic.

Here you reveal a good deal about your inner workings, Will. The only reason people would find fault with your bad behavior is not because of the bad behavior itself, but because they are apostates.

Hence, anybody who calls you on your bad behavior is automatically an apostate.

Present company included.

It also relieves you of the difficulty of confronting your bad behavior and apologizing for it.

I honestly hope that by showing you your flawed thinking, you will begin to understand how it is flawed and begin to make changes toward a more Christian course of conduct.

All the Best!

This is just ridiculous and unnecessary. Is it possible to defame an online persona...? I'm no lawyer, but methinks you don't know what you're talking about.

This message board is better off without legal threats.

You can't possibly encourage them any more enthusiastically than I am.

I suppose the only explanation is that I have grown entirely comfortable with my hypocrisy.
