To clarify, I'm defining children as younger than 18.

SP, indulge me a bit as I derail your thread slightly here (I don't feel like starting a new one on this subject).
I've noticed since the ripe age of 13, that adult males in my church circles started discussing this topic in my priesthood classes and in private settings (i.e. bishop interviews). Since the church does not explicitly command adult males to discuss this topic frequently with boys (maybe I'm wrong about that?), could it be that the adult males are harboring some sexual baggage themselves? Could it be that many adult LDS males have unresolved sexual issues (and misconceptions) from their own childhood that causes them to push these on to children around them? Maybe my bishop still had guilt about masturbating as a 13-15 year old and felt that by preventing other boys from doing the same, he was in a way, relieving himself from the memories?
Thoughts?
That's extremely Freudian. However, I would think that maybe the ones who are pre-occupied with it are still masterbating -- who is to say that these men have wives into sex? I don't think they talk much in Relief Society about how to have great sex lives.

Interestingly, I would guess that some women assume their husbands would not care to see them in non-garment approved clothing due to changes that occur over the years so they tend to embrace the modest garment lines as a sort of validation. Maybe the Relief Society pres should stand up in Relief Society meeting and remove her cardigan to reveal a sleeveless dress and proclaim, "Sisters, don't worry - your husbands will like you this way!"
C'mon. They should do stuff like this. They just should. Hey COB - are you reading this board? Please take note. Make a change!

I remember my wife reporting back from a girls' night out among TBMs years back that one had related the story of withholding sex from her husband for six months after catching him masturbating. She considered it having an affair. Sad, really.

Isn't withholding sex considered grounds for divorce -- even temple divorce? A friend of mine mentioned a while back that he read that pre-nups often mention a minimal amount of sex that is expected in the relationship (number of times per month) so if one party decides they want the other to mess up (affair so that party violates the terms of a pre-nup and can lose big time in a divorce court) that person cannot withhold sex hoping the other will find it somewhere else.
You know, what America needs is to force all couples entering into marriage to sign pre-nups. There would be no better way to make sure that thousands of lawyers would wind up having to take jobs at Walmart to survive.
So far as I can see, this is not a satirical site.
