All of that is true, but since it's white, I wonder if it should have been built a few stories shorter.

In the army, we used the expression "I appoint two (three, a dozen, hundred) volunteers."
There were no objectors. This is the way of army.

This is a letter for all the people at COB that are asked to monitor the Internet for the latest ideas being discussed. I want you (TSM in particular) to know that I have loved ones still attending your church and therefore have a vested interest in it. I hope you know that I really would like to see change in the church. I hope you know that just because I have left, I have not given up on change. I have hope that you can change because I love and respect the people in my life that still remain a part of the church. I don't want the COB to implode and be destroyed. That would hurt the people in my life. I am not out to destroy you just because I don't believe or take part in your religion.

This is a plea for you to consider change and stop being afraid. Don't be afraid of losing members. Don't be afraid of ridicule. Don't be afraid of showing an about face. Be strong! Be honest! Embrace the past and confront it. Own it. It is a dirty past but in a way, that makes it beautiful because of the color. Your believers can still find the divine in this colorful past. Please stop trying to make the church be something it is not. Please stop being afraid of people that are still in the church and ask you to change.

I hope you will print this letter and show it to the prophet and discuss it.

Sincerely,

Zee the apostate

This is letter is a little strange..full of contradictions. Lets have the changes whatever they may be that former members wish to make in the church so they can complain about these changes and offer new ones. Thereby the LDS church can lose many more members who believe in the church and gaining none.

What in the past should the church confront? Polygamy? The polygamy story is one of faith. The LDS church can certainly make it into a story of faith and sacrifice, if they wish to make it so. Give it up zee. Just move on and enjoy your new life. Forget about family members who are still in the church and are happy to be there and just love them and enjoy picnics and gatherings together.

Maybe all religions should confront their very human past. Maybe the american people should confront their own country's past. A lot of maybes.

It sounds like the Hungarian political sytem where the citizens volunteered for a neoliberal economic system that ruined your country. Where were the objectors?

Dear COB. The 6.9 billion other inhabitants of the world are not concerned or interested in your religious beliefs. We know almost nothing about your religion and we do not care to know more. We have our own faith, religious and cultural traditions that predate yours by hundreds or thousands of years. Our cultures are rich, varied and diverse, and as of yet, the sect known as Mormonism, (as we are told by sociologists who study world religions) headquartered in a low population region of North America, unknown to the vast majority of the world, has shown that it has nothing to offer of superior quality culturally, economically, artistically or intellectually to the world's inhabitants.

Please feel free to send your religious emissaries to our countries to add to our economic well being and to spend your fast depreciating U.S. dollars. Please do not be offended if we do not take your literal interpretations of a holy book that we may or may not hold sacred as factual. Please do not take offense if we ignore and treat your apparently self serving teachings with total apathy. It is not personal, it is just that you have not shown that you offer anything of value or substance that merits our attention.

Yours truly,
The whole world.

- I don't know what "neoliberal economic system" means. We have no such thing. We have no economic system at all.
- Instead, we have a "2/3 majority" government. Nothing to do with liberalism. They are ultra-right. They do what they want, without logic or thinking. (hurry-skurry, hugger-mugger, I've learned these beautiful words in this minute)
If any new law is against the Constitution, they change it. The Constitution.
If the Court of Constitution (our equivalent of your Court of the Highest Instance or Supreme Court or whatever) says something is against Constitution, then their competence is decreased.
To the position of President of Republic was appointed the vice president of THE PARTY. He can't spell common words.
Viktor Orbán, our Loved Leader Of National Unity (read: prime minister) is a worse tyrant than Stalin, Mao and Ceausescu (if You know who they were...) together. Please don't wonder if we become a Kingdom with Viktor I., as king.

The people changed the leadership of Socialist Party. We got out of the frying into the fire.

The objectors?
Today, they are in the media. Tomorrow they will be in new gulags.
