Moderators should have 2 accounts. A moderator account and a personal account. So if anyone wishes for whatever reason to put a moderator's personal posting on ignore they are able to.

The problem is there is a lot of subjectivity in what counts as an "over-the-top personal attack" which can lead to unfair treatment and censoring of ideas. Simply moving posts around is a much better solution because erasing speech is much more final and limiting. Shades has a philosophy of minimal interference with speech that I strongly agree with, and moderators should be obligated to uphold it. It's a good idea.
Not that it has anything to do with this thread, but I write the word "anyways" all the time. I hear it spoken often enough. Maybe it's a regional thing, but it certainly isn't a personal error Eric just made up.

Harmony may have been wrong in deleting the word/sentence, whatever, but I can't say as I can blame her for it. What's done is done, the issue has been clarified, the word has been put on automatic censure. Why should anyone's head roll for this? That's just crazy.
Anyway(s), Harmony is a exceptional woman, her flaws are more beautiful than the flaws of most of the rest of us, and she deserves appreciation.
Is there a pattern here of the most complaining about moderaters being done by troublemakers?
