A long overdue, fairly quick n' dirty, but slightly better homage to LDSToronto. I tried to work in a reference to listening to Howard C. talk about his pugs, but had to go with the more recognizable sisal and accordiadoor attributes.

Just looking at this brings back memories of pinched fingers and sweat-stained dress shirts.

Once again, I am flattered you'd even think to draw something for me. Thank you, Blixa.

It became a puerile (but still fun) thread when Scratch entered. See his portraits of Peterson, Midgley, Tvednes, etc.

Yes, it's all that damn Dr Scratch's fault. This thread started out so high-brow and free of puerile negativity. Why, no one can see anything negative about the OP showing Darth J 'wearing a turtleneck Christmas sweater and butt choking lime green jeans'. Nothing negative in the second post, by Darth J, suggesting Zeezrom is poking the LDS Church in 'cowardly anonymity'. By the third and fourth posts, it's devolved to "potty humor". Nothing in suggesting that harmony is harpy and tyrannical, or 'apostate'.

No, it was all so light-hearted fun, enlightening and even inspiring until evil Dr Scratch posted his rendition of DCP viewing his morning to-do list at NAMIRS. Not until then did it get childish or negative, right Simon?

The true example of puerile negativity is, Simon, your OCD fettish against Dr Scratch.

Hey, I wasn't the one complaining about puerility, Blixa was. I was fine with the thread the way it was. It was obviously meant to "roast" our fellow board members, and I actually like some of Dr. Scratch's cartoons!

And you agree with Scratch's OCD fetish with Dr. Peterson?

Really? And you did not post this?

Now, Blixa did use the word puerile first. But let's see how she used it:
Blixa wrote:It would be great if we could reverse the recently puerile and solely negative trend that the thread has dwindled into. Though I still had a few portraits I hoped to draw, I suspect the thread has run its course. Maybe it can be resurrected at a later time?

Blixa posted that on May 6, 2011, in page 20 of a thread that began March 19, 2011 (early in your self-imposed month long exile).

So you want us to believe that Blixa was referencing Dr Scratch's first post about DCP which was posted on March 19 on page 1 of the post? Is that what you took Blixa too mean when yesterday she posted in page 20 the "recently puerile and solely negative trend that the thread has dwindled into"? Keep in mind when answering, Simon, that she has posted numerous drawings in the thread, all after Dr Scratch's post.

Now, you are right that Blixa used puerile before you did, but you were the one that then misattached it to Dr Scratch's involvement in the thread.

Not so nice of an attempt to squirm out of it.

That is correct. She labeled the thread "puerile" after several of my cartoons appeared. I pointed out that it was puerile long before I joined in the fun.
