LDS reignation letter, who would shock you most

Post by _Ceeboo »

The most shocking to me would be Peterson (Bokovoy would be pretty shocking to me as well)

What say you?

6 years ago I would been most shocked that I would be submitting a resignation letter 4 years later.

Peterson will never submit a letter. He'll go down with the ship - not because he's the captain, but because he's stuck shovelling coal below the water line.

I think the choice is fairly obvious: Daniel Peterson.

Dan and David have the most to lose (their jobs).
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Hey harmony,

Interesting!

In addition to the many personal investments/reasons one might weigh in staying LDS, your contribution does seem to be valid and, IMHO, worthy of at least strong consideration.

Thanks for the perspective and peace,

I pick Ceeboo. I would be shocked if he joined the church, then resigned. I would mostly be shocked if he joined. Stranger things have happened! With the subtle invites Ceeboo gets at the Mad board, I figure there must be a chance. Will he crack under pressure? Will some uncovering of dirt on the Catholic church make him consider? So many questions!

Never a bad choice :)

I would be shocked if he joined the church, then resigned.

So would I!

I would mostly be shocked if he joined.

You figure wrong :) (There is a total of exactly no chance)

Will he crack under pressure?

Although there are surely some very palatable/desirable/tempting "teachings" in the LDS church (Exaltation, Sealed for eternity to bride/family, etc), Ceeboo's do not crack.

Will some uncovering of dirt on the Catholic church make him consider? So many questions!

The Catholic church has "dirt"? :)
