I whole heartedly agree that a balletomane Jesus is a very good Jesus. Can you imagine Jesus clapping in tempo, shouting: "Come on children, the battement tendu again! Suzy, work that en croix! Come come, up on the barre. There it is! Work it!" I think I need to go watch White Nights again...
Oh for shame, how the mortals put the blame on us gods, for they say evils come from us, but it is they, rather, who by their own recklessness win sorrow beyond what is given... Zeus (1178 BC)

The Holy Sacrament.

Not sure about that as I have seen murals from the ancient Mediterranean area and many depict Romans and Jews are shown with red, light brown and dark hair.

As for Swedes v. Jews...here is a Swedish actor:

and here is a Jewish actor:

So which did Jesus resemble most?

You gave me a very small selection to choose from. :)

If I have to pick an actor that looks like Jesus, I'm going with this guy:Image

Here's a computer illustration of what some folks think he may have really looked like:

Personally, I think his hair would be longer. Showing some signs of male pattern baldness. Maybe a hat.

According to my theology, Christ was not a Hebrew. His genes were a clone of the Father's. There is no race attributed to God. That is why he made us in his image and likeness so that cloning is possible with us. Christ is in the express image of the Father.

I forgot about that. If I recall correctly, you believe God artificially inseminated Eve's first ovulation and then implanted the embryo into Mary. Have I got that right?

Precisely. Need I quote the pertinent scriptures?

Hmmm, so Jesus was a clone and Mary was not really his Mom (The Catholics might be upset with that). Just a host mother. I think the Old Testament has God as Jewish. At least the God of the Jews. The other folks had their own Gods.

Personally (my theology), I think Jesus was a man like any other. If Joseph was his dad then he is 100% Semitic. If Mary was pregnant when she married Joseph (I think that is alluded to in the New Testament) maybe his dad was Roman. Like Brian.

Men like any other do not have power to lay down their lives and take it again. Come and go as they please so to speak. The resurrected body of Jesus Christ kept the scars of his passion. You are not suppose to keep an imperfect body after you are resurrected, according to scripture we rise up perfect.

So Christ took his mortal body back again so he could show the signs of his crucifixion. Most interesting and out of the box which is where most of my theology is. Makes you wonder if Christ's mortal life was earth bound. Wonders when he noticed that he could suddenly glorify himself and hie to Kolob. Come back and perhaps lose no time. Hmm?

I could go on but wont.

In all seriousness, one of the things I like about you is that you put your beliefs out there without apology, without hedging. I find that quite admirable.
