A collective high-pitched hallelujah likely went up recently among Mormon women when the LDS Church changed its policy to allow female employees in the church's Salt Lake City headquarters to forsake their pantyhose and go barelegged.
This follows a similar move from last summer, loosening the pantyhose requirements for “sister missionaries,” young LDS women spreading the faith full time across the globe.
The pantyhose requirement was particularly onerous to young women serving in tropical climates such as Brazil and Uganda, where the nylon would cling uncomfortably to sweaty legs.
On top of that, these young women are now allowed to wear “brighter colors, patterns and even accessories,” according to a story at ldsliving.com. The move was intended “to make sister missionaries' appearance more inviting to investigators [potential converts].”
The church also is allowing sister missionaries to shorten their skirts above mid-calf but are still required “to cover the knees when sitting or standing,” the story said. “Sisters are still required to maintain their appearance of modesty, wearing conservative outfits that consist of professional suits, skirts, blouses, jackets, sweaters and dresses.”

What a bunch of jackasses telling women what they have to wear when it has nothing to do with the job requirements. They can still do the work in pants and tank tops.
What is the 'official required' costume for the men?

Well, I guess one has to take what one can get.

Yeah, seriously!
What jackasses telling myself and people in my office that we have to dress "business casual" when we could easily perform the same duties in our underwear.
What jackasses to tell medical doctors that they have to wear shirts and ties and lab coats when they could easily do their job naked.
What jackasses to tell funeral directors that they have to wear suits and ties when they could easily perform their duties in clown costumes!

What JACKASSES tell women they have to wear panty hose?
Why do they care about the womens underwear?
Why are these idiots fixated on foolishness like this rather than on job performance? Simple business attire is understandable - but panty hose?
What does it matter if a woman is bare legged?
Do the higher up men do spot checks and feel-ups if he panty hose are too sheer and it looks like the woman is not wearing any?
Would they get in trouble for wearing fish net hose?
How about pure silk? Do the supervisors then check for garters?
Next they will start spot checks to see if they shave their underarms.
JACKASSES is being nice to idiots like this.

Dumbass: workplaces can dictate a dress code for employees. I know you can't understand this being a po-dunk crop duster and all.

Maybe he's talking about the kind of "crop dusting" done by flight attendants.

And he doesn't have to wear nylons.

Possibly the first one to overdo these "accessories" with a necklace, belt and wrist watch may ruin things for the rest. Women, please be sensible with these new rights. These rights are in no way an endorsement for all those feminist doohickeys which could be perceived as non-reverential.
