Huntsman and story behind the story
On my e-mail list, there was an entry from LDS Living with the message header, Is Huntsman Distancing Himself from LDS Faith?. The problem was that Huntsman has chosen to visit a variety of churches to reach out to others, and this started when he was governor according to ravening Congressman Jason Chaffetz, “But the governor went out of his way week in and week out to visit other churches,” Chaffetz says. “He felt it imperative to reach out.”
The story also contrasted Mitt Romney's steadfastness in never visiting another church.
Story within the story? LDS Living took this story from the Salt Lake Tribune and the story involved contrasting two Mormons running for President of the United States. Hey, political dynamiting needs to find some outlet.

Huntsman always seemed like a pretty decent guy and this story confirms it.
From the Ernest L. Wilkinson Diaries: "ELW dreams he's spattered w/ grease. Hundreds steal his greasy pants."

At least now I understand more fully why it is I've always discerned such disingenuousness in John Huntsman. I've never liked the guy, and this only confirms the correctness of my prior impressions.
I will say this: Huntsman's prospects as a candidate for president are now officially sunk--not because he no longer believes in Mormonism (which has been rather common knowledge for some time now) but because he is a rank coward, afraid to stand for what he does believe.

I thought myself the wiser to have viewed the evidence left of such a great demise. I followed every step. But the only thing I ever learned before the journey's end was there was nothing there to learn, only something to forget.

Is this opinion only because he no longer believes in your organization? If he were to support Thomas Monson as the PSR, would you believe otherwise?
I think not, Schryver. You are all about appearances.

I have never been a fan of Huntsman. I've always considered him disingenuous of character and slight of intellect.

I'm confused. You seem to know more about what Huntsman really "does believe" than the rest of us (or the Tribune) does. Will you share?

This coming from someone who believes an uneducated farm boy, one Joseph Smith, literally translated some Egyptian papyrus into the Book of Abraham.

Is it true that Huntsman is too polite to women? If so, that could be the source of being disingenuous.
Could this affect free usage of the Huntsman Jet?

This is good!
Mormons won't vote for Huntsman because he is not "Mormon" enough. Fundamentalist Christians won't vote for him because he is too Mormon.
He's doomed.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

Amusing AND true.
