And here I thought it was because I don't have six-pack abs. I guess I'll have to work on intimidation techniques. Can anyone recommend some good books?

We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

I've been tempted to spell it as "Schrijver" as I'm guessing that the name is of Dutch origin meaning "writer".

Belinda,

First of all, welcome to the board. I hope that you decide to continue posting with us.

I hope that you take the time to read Beastie's three accounts here:

viewtopic.php?p=455146#p455146

Like Beastie, I am honestly curious about your reactions to these incidents.

by the way, although there is obviously no love lost between Will and myself (I am Liz, who Beastie refers to in the third incident), I do not hold any malice toward Will.

Parent to parent, I was very concerned when I read about your daughter's cancer hospitalization on MDD. My family and I held a 24 hour fast. I also created a thread on this message board, alerting posters on this site about what had happened:

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=12255&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=hospital&start=0

If you have a moment, I hope that you will read through that thread. I think that you will find that everyone on that thread put aside petty differences and rallied around Will, a fellow poster on the board, and offered him support.

For some reason, Will has the idea that the majority of those who post here hate him because of his love of the Church. As a member of the Church myself, I submit to you that this is simply not true. Read the above thread, and decide for yourself.

The truth is...at least in speaking for myself...I have no hatred for Will. As a Church member, I am concerned about how he, as a soon-to-be-published LDS apologist, represents the Church that I also hold dear. And, I think that rightly so, Dan Peterson and other MI and FAIR members should be concerned.

Will wrongly believes that anyone who acts civilly toward critics of the Church is no better than a critic himself. He consistently turns debates about ideas to debates involving personalities. This is a clear weakness in apologetics, not a strength.

If anyone might influence him to understand this, it would be you.

It is obvious that he loves you very much. And it is equally obvious that you love him.

I hope that your daughter is feeling better and thriving. It is incredibly scary when your child is that ill.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post, and again, welcome to the board.

What is a real man? What makes most of us emasculated?

The answer to your first question is ponytails. The answer to your second question is a lack of ponytails.

20-45? Why would anyone compare Will to this age spread?
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Perhaps Belinda would welcome a personal call from one prominent member involved in this thread for a quick interview on the contents herein. Say we limit the interview to three questions decided in this thread beforehand, with Belinda picking the caller.

You're just saying that because you're anti-Mormon.

Can Will be that desperate?

Hello,

Mr. Schryver/Nomad/Belinda/Silver Hammer ought to count his lucky stars the search feature omits common words. The quote count on this thread where he's abusing women would have easily doubled.
