Odd that you posted that Nehor.

I was just about to point out that DCP sticks out in my mind as the one who complained the most and in the most hyperbolic ways about the UTLM message board's Orwellian tactics. That might not be technically correct, but he stands out the most in my memory. He loved making Nazi comparisons. He even called their equivalent of Juliann "Der Fuhrer" or something close. And to be fair to UTLM, I don't think they were as Orwellian as MADB is. DCP doesn't flip out about MADB's tactics though, but that is another story.

This is a perfectly postworthy topic. To get instabanned for bringing it up is just so blatantly manipulative massaging of the message that I don't know how you can stomach it.

I think I'll take a quote from that thread and say it just flat applies to the situation here. Just replace "the Tanners'" with "FAIR's" and you are golden:

I can't believe that anybody can defend der Webfhrer's behavior without embarrassment, or with a straight face. Consig was mainly banned for his Racism thread. His comments to the posters who responded to him left much to be desired. So, his banning was an accumulation of many things and not anything in particular.

I'd probably be a bit more inclined to consider this explanation if not for the fact that RockSlider was also instabanned for starting a thread similar to Consig's. Both were banned without any kind of word of caution and their threads were deleted as opposed to just being locked. No, to me it would appear that the MAD moderators don't want the Schryver/MI thing mentioned, let alone discussed, on their so-called "discussion" board.

I did not get the impression that consig posted a thread from this board. However, he did mention this board not by name. But if one reads his comments on his racism thread, one can see that he was rather flippant in his responses. And I did say that it was not any one particular thing but a series of things that tired the moderators.

In the past, consig was a valuable member of the discussion board. But now, his bitterness shows in many posts. To see his digression is not a pretty site for the old timers who remember the good ol' days of his bull's eye posts. And we need to remember that the mods are mainly members of the old timers group.

I don't think that the Will happening matters much over there for the mods. The mods are mainly posters from the board who have been members of the discussion board for quite some time. There are a couple of exceptions. We need to remember that there are many mods on MDD. It is not a cloning system.
