Hello Mr. Schryver,
Why don't you humble yourself, apologize, make amends, and repent for your behavior, too?

Re: Mormon Apologetics & Misogyny: The Case of William Schryver
I understand the term "useful idiot" to be equivalent to "A person who allows herself to be manipulated by those hostile to what she holds dear." As an example of that: It's been my experience that those in the LDS apologetic community can be divided into two groups, with regard to Kevin Graham. The first group would say "Kevin Who?" The second know that he's one of the most hostile, driven and devious apostates since D. P. Hurlbut.
But Kevin tells us that some LDS apologists contacted him to confide to him that they were worried about Will's online behaviour.
Really?
Yes, really.
No less than three of them contacted me just out of the blue. I had no idea who they were before, but now they are among my friends listed on Facebook.
If in fact they do know Kevin, but don't realise what he's on about, then I would definitely characterise them as "useful idiots."
I wasn't "on about" anything. I was minding my own business when they suddenly contacted me. I never bothered to ask them why they contacted me, but they did. I suspect they contacted me because they knew my arguments against Will's KEP stuff were similar to their own. They informed me that they were very displeased with Will's behavior, attitude, as well as his arguments. They shouldn't be too hard to pick out if you pay attention to all the folks at MADb who have fared to challenge Will's numerous bald assertions on the subject. And no, I'm not even talking about Bokovoy or Hodges, but you can definitely add them to the growing list of LDS apologists who have become disaffected from the Schryver-pa-looza rage, that was blown out of proportion back in August. But Will still has a few useful idiots who like to pretend he and his work is actually worth defending (wade, Pahoran...OK, maybe just two useful idiots)
The funny thing about Pahoran's attempt to discredit what I have said, is that it has been pretty much validated by recent events. Because it certainly wasn't MsJack who contacted the Maxwell Institute. It was a group of LDS members. I warned William more than a month ago that there were some on his side of the fence who would be working against him on this. All he did was laugh to our faces while freaking out behind the scenes, jumping to conclusions about Bokovoy and then writing up spastic emails to BYU scholars to see if he could find out the details about what had been said about him. He then went on to prematurely warn/threaten Bokovoy at MAD, insisting it would be Bokovoy's who would be sorry, not Will.
Yes, this is all kinda funny. But even more so now that Pahoran is trying to cast doubt on my story from over a month ago, which has been validated to at least some extent; even if the group of folks who contacted me is not the same group who contacted NAMI.

Because he is too busy being a great example for his chosen religion.

Incidentally, for lots of photos of Kevin sans shirt, look him up on Facebook.
LOL!

Why are you looking at photos of Kevin shirtless, Simon?

I didn't mean to. The majority of them are, though.

And anyone can go into a public bar. This is more private than publishing a book is.
This forum is not a private club. Anyone can register and post.
Celebrating it would still be wrong, as it indicates that one is in favor of the kind of PC nonsense that I am opposed to.
If Will has lost the ability to become a "respectable" apologist, it's not the fault of MsJack or any of his targets here. Will alone make that choice.
Do you know what it doesn't say anything about? The quality of his apologetics. And important apologetic things are often done by people with real personality... David has real personality; so does Dan. Both get their points across without sinking to vile namecalling. That Will chooses to rain vile epithets down on women is a sideline to his apologetics, and says a great deal about his "respectability" or lack thereof.
context is key, dear.
Then say what you mean. No one can be accused of equivocating if you aren't communicating clearly.
I'll leave aside the question of whether msjack posted this thread to hurt his reputation. He may not be banned from here, but he cannot have his work published professionally by this group-that's a problem. And while people on this website may not control NAMI, they control their own behavior, and they celebrated when NAMI decided to revoke his publication (or whatever it was that happened).
No one is silencing him here. He's not banned from here. NAMI is not under the control of MDB, and we cannot control what they publish. Will is welcome to publish his arguments here. I'm sure there are many posters who would find the ensuring discussion very interesting.
I would LOVE to see you substantiate this claim.
I disagree. Because offensive behavior makes it impossible for any public official do to their job.
I'm sorry, but all questions muse be submitted in writing.

Uh, no. There is only one photo of me shirtless and that is with my kids in the pool. I think you've looked up the wrong Kevin Graham.

Silver Hammer, er, I mean William Schryver. How many sock puppets do you plan to use on this forum? Are you really so stupid as to think we have no idea it is you?

Simon, your prurient interest in Kevin's body belongs somewhere else, not on this thread.
