Why aren't these guys Mormons?
"From the original six members in 1830, the Church of Jesus Christ has grown to a membership of nearly 14 million on six continents."
How come The Three Nephites and John the Beloved have never joined l-ds,inc? Why weren't they there for the first baptisms and restoration stuff?
They are still around. Why aren't they listed as members?

Because they aren't. They are outside the current priesthood hierarchy (they report through other chains) and don't belong to our Church (they are the last mortal members of an older Church) though I would class them as friends of ours.
Any more dung on your mind you need to spew out here without bothering to think about it first?

Too busy changing tires on the side of the road, etc. to get involved in church?
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

Hold on a second. They aren't part of our church? A different priesthood? WTH?

A part of whose church? Didn't you forsake it?

I agree with Zeez, in that I've never heard this before. What priesthood do they have? And what church do they belong to? I'd thought that Joseph Smith supposedly restored the ancient church.

Yep, Joethecoxman was 'the instrument' for restoring a Priesthood that had been on the earth the whole time.
Go back to the book of morons and read what the three nephites were left here for. Then their absence from Mormon ward parties raises more questions.
Where are they? Why aren't they part of anything in l-dsinc these days? Why didn't they visit Joeyboy when he was setting all this up? Why didn't they visit ANY of the prophets of the restoration?
Four guys with Apostolic callings left to make their way to Taco Bell on their own. What was Jesus thinking?

One of the three Nephites did visit Joseph.

Don't you just grit your teeth when you realize that someone's speculation is considered an element of religious belief. This "not of our Church" would be tantamount to a direct admission that we are separate from the purpose of Jesus, since John was an ardent disciple.
