A derail that has nothing to do with the topic isn't clever. It's cowardly and is generally the product of a weak mind floundering for a counterattack.

I stand by my assessment.

I also find it curious that the sensitivity of critics is never brought up when they fire back at apologists. Fascinating.....you'd almost think it was just a rhetorical trick.

Like I said, Sallie Sensitive. You've flown off the handle over a pretty innocuous (and yes, clever) jab. Get a grip.

Isn't that enough?

What do you mean? Like the sacrifices would become like something akin to acting out the passion play?

Since LDS Sacraments consist of only Wonder bread and water (in rememberance of Christ's sacrifice), maybe animal sacrifices would be too big a step. Perhaps a ritual cutting of sugar beets.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

It's been a while since I've considered this important doctrine of Chapel Mormonism, but if memory serves correctly then, a) there must be a restoration of "all things," including sacrifice, b) Mormons per se may not be doing the sacrifices. The temple to be built in Jackson County by Mormons will have the alter ready, but the sacrifices will be carried out by the Lost 10 Tribes when they return. The practice may only last a short time, a part of the repentance process for the 10 who were scattered due to idolatry.

This animal sacrifice is just whistling at ghosts of the past.

Jell-O sacrifice is much more likely.

I didn't fly off the handle. I called it for what it was. Are you subscribing to the Scratch school of thought that me not being nice to you means I'm consumed by rage? Bad habit to pick up.

In a way similar to the sacrament.

It also means you get tasty barbeque too.

No water, please.
Wine, if I may demand.

Jesus himself didn't like water.

Now you're in denial.
