I really don't care WHO he is, but I do care WHAT he is and I think it's a disgrace that he's supposedly a good, worthy member of the church and an apologist who represents the church (or at least the Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship). What he acts like and writes for the church is in such stark contrast to what he writes "in secret" and "anonymously" that he's obviously a HUGE hypocrite.
Hello,
I agree. I can't comprehend how someone can, on the one hand, embrace an ideology of love, forgiveness, and charity, but on the other hand act like a Sociopath on the Internet. My guess is Mr. Pahoran is truly a Psychopathic Personality who simply keeps his act together in real life enough to fool those around him. His true colors come out on a regular enough basis to ascertain this obvious reality, much in the same way it does with Mr. Schryver, Mr. Englund, and others.
The only hope for redemption for these souls is an honest assessment of who they are, repentance, amends, and a genuine desire to restitute those that have been harmed. In this case, on this forum, a simple acknowledgement of their behaviors, and a reorientation toward constructive and thoughtful dialogue would go a long way.
Unfortunately it won't happen because they're Psychopaths, incapable of feeling and comprehending the true nature of their interactions with others.
