It isn't that porn is really a problem in l-dsinc society, it is that for some crazy reason leadership need a new whipping boy for the members to get mad at.
They are succeeding in making a whole new class of anti-hero, those who have 'overcome' this 'addiction'.

Here's something strange, chime in if it sounds familiar.
My female has always been indifferent to porn and its use (must a Euro-thing) and is not bothered by its existence in the least. She gave me full permission to use it as I wished (actually she gave me look like I was crazy when I nervously brought it up). Without her disapproval and no longer fearing the church's odd view of it I am free to look at all the porn I could ever see. Even buying it if I wanted. No bounds!
So? What happened? Well, I rarely look at porn. Much, much less than when it was forbidden. And also, I am not aroused by the stupid sex scenes on TV and movies. I knew I was cured when one day at the beach it took me more than an hour to notice the three women topless 2 meters over!
I am of the opinion repressing porn causes the addiction. Thoughts?

I really do think there are several categories of LDS women involving this issue:
1) Could not care less if hubby looks at it as long as he is loyal to her in real life.
2) Would only be mad if he did not invite her to watch some films together with her.
3) Believes porn is a form of evil that the husband needs psychological help in overcoming -- especially after she noticed that the girl-on-girl movies he did not erase in the history files turn her on way more than straight sex.
4) Hubby looked at porn? Yehaa -- grounds to divorce him and get any and all the sympathy she ever wanted from all the people at church!

They do not enjoy it because there is an attraction problem. Their husband does not feel comfortable being sexually aggressive and the woman doesn't know why she doesn't enjoy having sex. It is likely that neither one is experienced and they don't know what makes a woman, uh, happy. She strives never to think about it (gotta have pure thoughts) and eventually tamps out whatever normal sexual feelings she had before children. She has been taught to be the gatekeeper and she has no understanding or respect for male sexuality. I don't think a lot of LDS men understand or respect their own sexuality, either. Too many marriages become sexless or where the woman is merely tolerating sex or having it out of duty and guilt.
Throw in garments and it's the perfect tingle kill.
