where has Will been? Has he gone into hiding? Perhaps he is doing the right thing and reassessing himself and making the proper changes.

Well, yes, stem. That's not the point. As I said, long experience with Will helps one understand that he loves to play on this kind of ambiguity. Is he joking in part? No doubt. The question is not whether there is any humor here, but the extent to which he is also serious.

Ray A told me off board that Will is in Italy.

He is sure to have some great laughs with Mr Berlusconi.

A couple of problems with this idea:
1. Will is using one of the most sacred secret ordinances of the temple as a joke???
or
2. Will is bragging about receiving one of the most sacred secret ordinances of the temple?
Either way, Will comes off, once again, as someone who apparently is clueless about the sacredness of ordinances performed in the temple. As many defenders have asked me repeatedly: does his bishop know about this?
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Wow. I did not know that. I guess #2 is still in play. Thanks, EA.

Not every LDS person believes that you have to have the Second Anointing in order to have your calling and election made sure, right? I mean, back in the days before knowledge of this ordinance resurfaced, McConkie painted a portrait of this was deliberately vague to the point of misleading, and that would probably have impacted the way some people interpret it, no?

Wow, Ray A keeps track of Will's comings and goings. I didn't see that coming.

It's not so much that he sets out to lie as that he'll say whatever works at the moment. If it turns out to be true, great. If not, he'll just dance some more. Your #2 that you dismiss would be my first guess as to what's going on.
I have to agree with EA. Pahoran is totally willing and capable of lying on his own without direction from William Schryver. They are both "interesting" characters.

Re: The Dude says, "No Running Joke."
I think the reason most of us believed he was not joking (although he may have made some jokes in reference to innocent blood on this board) is because this claim is quite in line with Will's other grandiose claims. He claims to have a special dispensation of some sort to discern "fifth columnists", which is why it's A-OK for him to be so rude to members with wavering faith. He also claims to have the power to curse apostates.
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.
