Hi Teee Deee,

Yes, you are in for the umpire job.

:-)

Oh, and if you want Beastie and me to play, the game must be in Virginia!

~td~

Sorry, like many of us, you will have to travel.

The big game has been set, and approved, to take place in the COB parking lot.

Super!

Can't wait to see you perform (Think I'll put Hoops at 3rd, I understand he/she has a vacume for a glove)

Nightlion just sent me a PM of prophecy.........................Final score.............. Believers-36.....Non-believers-4 :)

I worship Athena so I get to be on your team, right?
Oh for shame, how the mortals put the blame on us gods, for they say evils come from us, but it is they, rather, who by their own recklessness win sorrow beyond what is given... Zeus (1178 BC)

Cheerleading make me flip meat too.

Sorry. Couldn't resist.

I hereby nominate this for the Randy Post of the Year (the criteria is the post that best exhibits bawdiness, while also using a clever double entendre).

Too vague
You got the Brights, who call hogwash to all spirituality. But are probably lying their butts off about it just because its embarrassing.
Then you got the earth-worshippers who allow themselves to be fiddled with by spiritual beings. Astral-projections and what not.
Then you got the Pagans
The Satanist
The nudists
The tree huggers
The greeners
The anti-whalers
The anti-carbons
The anti-nuclears
The anti-meats
The anti-pesticides
The organic food eaters
The blue nose gophers
The red butt primates
Did I miss any?

It's only as vague as believer in "god/creator." I was trying to be equally vague. I could have asked what team are the Druid High Priestesses on. *grin*

You probably missed a bunch. For example, my understanding is that Buddhists do not believe in a god. Yet, I wouldn't necessarily lump them with atheists. Although they could be since they are an atheistic religion.

That's why I asked. It can get so confusing to apply such broad labels to people.

Dammit, Zee. You need to be on the grill. All the cool pagans are on my team...flippin' meat and eating magic brownies.

As a red butt primate, I have to take offense at this. I am seeking a cure for advanced age diaper rash, though.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

It made me laugh out loud and blush. That is quite the accomplishment.

UPDATE:

I have just hung up with a very "high level" person at the COB.

The rules (for now, as they may change) have been decided and approved by the COB officials.

A ball that hits the Temple in the air will be considerd a home run
A ball that bounces on the ground and then hits the Temple will be a double.
A ball that comes within 50 yards of the Hotel will be an out.

There will be seating arranged for fans of both sides (admission will be $65.00 per person, tickets will be sold to the first 30,000 people, and all proceeds will go to Shades to help support the MDB)

I will let you know of any further updates as they happen.

Peace,

Well, we do need some folks to tend the BBQ and keep an official score.

Maybe the "earth-worshippers" would be so kind?

Peace,
Ceeboo

All right! I'm in. I've got brownies and pasta salad. If someone else stokes up the bar-b I'll russle up some meat.

Would that be elk meat from the two elk you caught on the other thread?
