Some writers here understand how awkward it is to put out literary works, only to have people tear those works apart. It would be nice if only if our works were better received.
My advice is to listen to your readers. Even the ones who tore at your writing style and the content of your works like a Pit-bull. The best editors are those who put big red marks on all of the poor writing so that all that is left is good.
Also, I can’t help but think English may be a second language? If so that may be why you used the expression, “wet rain.”
You had/have a chance to show the world your true temperament; how you handle this situation reflects greatly on the faith (LDS religion) you are promoting.
I understand why some are saying they,

At this point, I could say the same thing. Yet, I won't. I am not going to end on a sour note.
Let's see if we can take this thing and make it smell as sweet as a rose?
I will say, there are a lot of good people here. And, I am proud to be counted among them.
