• Sunday, June 5, 4:07 PM --- TrashcanMan79 mentions the Juliann meme
• Monday, June 6, 5:19 PM --- Everybody Wang Chung mentions the Juliann meme
• Monday, June 6, 7:17 PM --- EAllusion mentions the Juliann meme, including his disapproval of the cruder ones
• Monday, June 6, 9:22 PM --- TrashcanMan79 replies to EAllusion about the Juliann meme and agrees that the cruder ones are unwelcome
• Monday, June 6, 9:51 PM --- Tator replies to an earlier comment regarding the Juliann meme
• Monday, June 6, 10:19 PM --- liz3564 replies to Tator regarding the Juliann meme

That is it. There were no other mentions of the meme thing on this forum until Scratch started the current thread.

A total of seven MDB members commented on the "meme" instances. The majority of the comments came from TrashcanMan79, and even he indicated that the crude memes were unwelcome. There were only three threads where their existence was mentioned at all, and anyone who hadn't clicked on one of those three threads probably would not know that they existed.

So I'm not sure where anyone at MDDB gets off thinking that the entire forum agrees with everything posted at MemeGenerator.net. We don't.

Uh, did you miss the part where I asked the person to remove that content because I didn't condone it? Good grief, Asbman. How the hell is SGW the "victim" here? Are Juliann and SGW the same person? I'm just noting a fact. Folks here who do stupid crap like this usually own up to it. And I only presented it as a plausible theory, and it is plausible.

The fact is you don't know who is responsible and neither does anyone else, including the finger-pointing mods at MAD. What an idiot you're going to look like if it does turn out to be someone like SGW or someone else who is just trying to keep this drama alive.

Right now there are theories of SGW being responsible for these actions because surely it wasn't one of them. 5 years I've got, they can see what sticks and what doesn't I have nothing to lose here. I will place my bets on them.

Why is Dr. Shades responsible for what posters do off board? I don't understand that line of thinking. If he is to blame for the ill posters do while away from his board, then is the credit his for the good we do?

I haven't seen one single meme dedicated to Julianne or to Calmoriah, because I haven't looked. I haven't a clue how to launch attacks on any website. I have babysat my sister's three kids for the past many days, sat with my stroke-disabled granny while my grandpa was in the hospital with pneumonia (yes, with my girls and their cousins in tow), gathered, with the help of some generous donors, thousands of dollars worth of diapers and infant formula to deliver to Joplin, MO, and mowed my elderly neighbor's front lawn. I'll have those folks direct any thanks Dr. Shades's way.

It is certainly vile for someone to mock Julianne for being the victim of domestic violence. I don't want to see such a meme. I don't want to read something so cruel and I'm certain most posters on this board feel the same way.

It's a shame that we're all lumped together as vile, low-life losers.

I'm not so sure about that. In fact, with the threat of law being thrown around a lot lately, such a person may be less likely to own up to it.

Plausible, but not the most likely and certainly not very useful. It doesn't matter whodunnit. The simple fact that I was aware of some of this and didn't condemn it proves that I am a hypocrite here when I am willing to condemn Will's behavior. Trying to shift the blame is a distraction tactic. All that matters is whether I have double-standard. I do. Is everyone here as culpable as me? No. I really don't care who knew about this and didn't condemn it but did condemn Will. That's for each person to reflect on individually. I behaved badly, and these Mormon message boards probably aren't helping.
