Not everything depends on interpretation. Some things are facts. Decent people can't "interpret" certain facts away once they learn them.
Really? Defenders often rely on first hand reports and not heresay. Let me give you an example: Joseph Smith's polygamy. The critics paint him as a horny toad, humping in the pond as many frogs as he can. No proof is offered.
The orginality of the critic is very attractive to many people who are doubting. MDD can offer no fictional orginality since it must rely on faith promoting testimony.
Apologists depend on the women testimonies and no one paints Joseph Smith as a horny toad humping the frogs from water lily to water lily.
All 11 witnesses never deny their testimony of the Book of Mormon and what they saw or felt with their hands. First hand testimony is offered. Critics rely on second or third hand sources to discredit the witnesses. Uncle Dale is the kingpin of hypotheticals.
Defenders skip both first-hand reports and hearsay, and go directly to unsourced speculation.

You will get sarcasm and some ball busting but when you come in with an argument in support of the Church you will receive a great deal of critical analysis. Critical analysis is something you appear to be speaking out against.
This board is an exception. However, this board has a lack of LDS posters. They just don't want to post here. It has a bad reputation among LDS posters. And it is unfortunate. The board did have potential and I am sure the original vision of the board was to compete with MAD. But when the hardcore antimormons came here and began their onslaught and mocking of LDS personalities, the LDS posters hightailed it out of here.
But on exmo boards in general, no critical thought can be allowed that challenges exmo lines and no positive LDS poster will be permited to debate an exmo.

If you want to look at how the board is doing look at the right side of the front page where it says "New Topics Added" and as of this moment; 11:16 U.S. Eastern Time 6/8/11 there have been 5 topics added in last 12 hrs.
How many you think have been added since then here?

I think that it depends on the quality of the threads. Take a look at the threads started here. What do we have? Personal threads about Will and SGW, threads about MAD, and some Joseph and zee threads.
Maybe the posters on MAD have enough to discuss on the threads that have been already started.

Find any thread on MAD in the past 6 months that has the amount of activity (absent of board war behavior) as the current thread in the Celestial Kingdom going on between Dan Vogel, marg, Uncle Dale, Roger, Glenn Thigpen, and others if you wanna play the "they're talking substance at MDD" card.

It's extremely funny that you try to argue this point, after numerous back-and-forth posts on this thread, from both sides, including yourself...yet you haven't been banned, the thread hasn't been locked.
Now, imagine that the tables were turned: an ex-mo tries your same arguments on MAD (but in favor of the ex-mo position). My prediction is they would at least be suspended, probably banned, and the thread locked. Especially if they were winning their argument!
Hehehehehe...thanks for the laugh.

This is utter BS. NO ONE EVER gets banned here (compare that to the purges that have taken place at MADB). Folks can say whatever they want here without fear of site administrators. That's the truth ... and you know it.
