IMNHO it is one of the cruelest things that Mormonism teaches people.
The Cross is the greatest evidence that God is not scared off by our sins (real or imagined).
Peace.

Why would Satan tempt you to such a thing? Waste of effort.
Cute Nehore.
So only Satan will tempt Mormons? Oh, active Mormons?
No jackass. I meant he only tempts people to sin. Coffee is only a sin to the saints. Read D&C 89 as if you are going to have to take a reading comprehension test. Might take someone like you a few hours.
Does he tempt you with the aroma of coffee at the grocery store or photos half neekid ladies on the magazines in the check out line?
No, mostly he tempts me to hold up the store.
I will admit, Satan has been absent from my life since I left the church.
Probably assumed his work there was done. I'm inclined to agree.

But he is disappointed. But then again, do you think that the Holy Ghost or spirit is in a porn emporium? And if so, what is he doing there?

Dear zee, I have been around coffee drinkers for a long time. What I do find is that coffee drinkers have a difficult time going through the morning without that cup of coffee. Maybe you have not expeienced it yet but it will come as you make it a regular drink. It is a sedative that is addictive and without it in the morning, headaches come and nerves become edgy as the body is craving that drink. Good luck.

I finally figured out, the Mormon idea of the Holy Ghost is that he sure gets scared off easily.
Perhaps you don't find a difference because God wasn't scared off, like you expected.
Peace.
And yet the Holy Ghost does depart from unholy places. (see Ps: 51.11
But does god? Maybe not but the verse also says that he can cast us away from his pressence.

Are you being intentionally disingenuous? We all know that the HG fled from Zeez long before he had that first cup of coffee. It probably fled about the time Zeez missed his first sacrament meeting. The Mormon HG is a pansy.

A Holy Ghost who won't go into a porn emporium to when someone there needs him isn't much good as a Holy Ghost, now, is he?

I suggest you challenge him to a duel then and see how it works out for you.

Hmmm.. D&C 89 says nothing specifically about coffee. Just hot drinks.
I am no fool. I do not drink HOT HOT chocolate or HOT HOT coffee. I actually prefer iced shots of espresso with a bit of cream.

Yeah so?
Many Mormons are addicted to diet coke. So what is the diff?
At least the coffee is all natural.
