It's clear that you are not intellectually or spiritually ready to drink from the fountain of knowledge that the Cassius seminar could offer.

More important, the bus doesn't stop in front of Cassius. That alone would prevent you from attending.

No, I'm not doped up on pain meds and sleep deprived after breaking all ten commandments. I am not ready for Cassius.

More important, the bus doesn't stop in front of Cassius.

So Cassius looks down on those who use public transport? Interesting. Or is this a metaphor for the fact that the bus doesn't stop in front of mythical buildings like Cassius and the homes of Scratch's informants?

That alone would prevent you from attending.

Indeed, I prefer the train.

Due to malicious muckrakers and their vicious witch hunt against me, I've been banned from presenting my paper at Cassius University.

I had to drop the seminar lest I lose all credibility with the intellectually honest. You get what you pay for.

Your post points up the need for a seminar for apologists on intellectual honesty and credibility.

Of course, if one were to fully understand and appreciate the content of such a seminar, one would immediately realize that the phrase "intellectually honest Mormon apologetics" is an oxymoron.

bcspace,

I see that you are doing the best you can on these boards. You speak with assumed authority and have the misplaced respect of some here when you do so.

What you and the other LDS apologists here seem incapable of understanding is the fact that you are defending fairytales. Your careful study and subsequent defense of LDS doctrine and scriptures represents no more "scholarship", intellectual honesty or importance to humankind than does defending the writings, beliefs and "doctrines" of such authors as L. Ron Hubbard and Mary Baker Eddy (or J.K. Rowling, for that matter).

I would like to offer my services. I have presented in several exclusive arenas especially beneficial to the apologist audience:

1. The Phenomenon of the smaller brain in females: A practical application in dealing with the slow thinking female.

2. The negro and the burden of the great white prophets.

3. Remembering the Lamanite: A recollection of great sacrifices the Mormon faith has done for the American Indians.

4. The Kinderhook plates: We are right and they are wrong

Excellent! Those would be great topics for a MAD Board seminar.

We owe you a debt of gratitude, Dr. Wang Chung. I know that Dean Robbers has been exceptionally busy as of late, and therefore he no doubt appreciates you announcing these new offerings.

On a sidenote: I wondered if that seminar on Mopologetic Financing has been cancelled?

I am humbled by your kind words, Dr. Scratch. The last I heard, the Mopologetic Financing seminar had been cancelled. It appears the Mopologists have blown all their money for this year posting bail for John Lund.
