Hello,

I wonder how many lies the Moral Mormon Voice of this board has now racked up?

I have to side with Simon on this one. He has never told a lie that wasn't for the Lord. Besides that, how do you know it was a lie? Maybe it was really an apple.

When the Holy Spirit tells a worthy priesthood holder to lie, it is for the good of all mankind. If Simon has anything to repent of, it's that he is such a terrible liar. When the Lord commands you to lie for him, he expects you to be convincing. Practice makes perfect, Simon. Or, maybe perfect practice makes perfect. You seem to get a lot of practice with questionable results.

Let us say, hypothetically, that you are holding an apple in your hand. What thinking process do you internally go through in order to prove to yourself that the apple exists, and that it is an apple?

Now, before you all say "Oh no! Not another Belmont 'nothing exists' thread," humor me. I have a reason for asking.

I know I have an apple in my hand because I'm not a f***ing idiot.

Simon, are you honest?

Do you lie to promote the LDS Church, or fend off its critics?

Do you have a problem with prevarication?

Or, are you unfairly maligned here by accusations of being a liar?

Did you post here from March 18-April 18 using a sock puppet?

Good point - I did reply to this thread after all, so all bets are off.

Okay,

I have just read this entire thread (while enjoying my 3rd cup of Folger's) and I have no clue what this thread is about.

I am, however, a fairly strong fan of the "Apple".

A scolding for the apple, the coffee, or because I don't have a clue what this entire thread is about?
