Yeah, me too. :)

Pope Benedict the XVI really goes deep into it, in his encyclical "Spe Salvi". It is really an amazing document that I recommend to any Christian!

Peace.

I'm no longer Christian, but I will have to check it out. Romans 5 was very instrumental in my spiritual journey.

Coffee and tea are not allowed under the WoW, if it was caffeine was the issue then coke, pepsi and so fourth would not be allowed. It is not perfectly okay to drink decaf coffee if one is a Mormon.

And far more of 150 million US coffee drinkers drink regular coffee without any effects on their quality of life.

I don't think that caffeine is the issue at all in the word of wisdom.

But for coffee addicts, the morning shakes come and go with that morning cup of coffee. And the headaches that come when the coffee isn't present and the nervousness of the coffee addict as their fix is slow in coming speak volumes.

It's really weird. I'm craving the taste of coffee right now. It must be all this talk of coffee. But I need to go to sleep so I think I'll wait until morning and then go buy some fresh beans when I go shopping with the kids. :)

I'm a coffee drinker and I have yet to experience these ill effects. What I do know is it's a great way to start your day.

Then why do you think it's okay for an LDS to drink decaf coffee?

Never had it happen, never seen it happen, think you don't know what you're talking about. Just like your second post in this thread where you were a 180 out.

The last time I was pregnant I was told not to get out of bed for 5 months. Good advice for the general public? Many things pregnant women are advised against doing don't apply to the rest of the non-pregnant world.
