As a board poster/member I really don't care what some other board/mod thinks or writes about this board. It is none of their business.

You may feel that way but many here do not. Any mod action over there is breaking news here and is analyzed (I use this term loosely to describe what is done here) and then criticized on any pretext that can be found.

This board should be free to be whatever it collectively wants to be within it's own guidelines of operation.

Boundaries people, I know Mormons struggle with this, but that doesn't mean boundaries don't exist.

Perhaps that is because there are many posters on this board that used to belong to that board (Had relationships, history, friendships, etc) And now, in many cases, find that they are silenced to answer/share/communicate as they have lost the privilege to do so.

Stem is right. Most posters over there don't care too much about what goes on here. We know there is anger, but we don't really take note what the anger is about. It's more of a look, and 'Ah, I see what you mean, yah, I want to stay away from that.' sort of thing.

And yah, stem is right. The obsession with MAD and negativism is one of the reasons I stopped posting here.

My thought is that, while your idea has merit, there's one important problem: this board is a parasite board. Its raison d'être is to trash MD&D. (That's why the supposed demise of MD&D, so gleefully fantasised about by so many here, would be a tragedy for MDB. Without MD&D, what would any of you have to talk about?) If you all stopped trashing MD&D, the thread count here would drop by at least 90% overnight.

And that's why it won't happen.

Especially if they were allowed to mention hairy palms. We can mention hairy palms, but just not see graphics of hairy or clean shaven palms due to such palms having an exclusive DMCA contract.
