Re: Is the board war already over?
If it were a board war Nemesis would register here and actually talk to us. As it is he's posting to a locked thread on his locked down board. It's like a livejournal blog. I'm waiting for the pictures of tear stained Kleenexes and sad clowns.
Whatever appears to be against the Book of Mormon is going to be overturned at some time in the future. So we can be pretty open minded.-charity 3/7/07

Dr. Shades wrote:Nope. I too originally thought that way, but Nemesis/DanG recently taught us that if someone commits a random negative act, then the message board on which he or she posts most often is the responsible party.
So, according to Nemesis, MD&D caused our temporary shutdown last week and deserves all the blame.
If you allowed us to express ourselves by permitting those emoticons (oh settle down I'm kidding with the not allowing to express ourselves), I'd definitely put the one where the guy is rolling his eyes in response to your post. (see, I took up a few lines to write out the same message I intended with a click of the button?)

Don't blame me. Those are Nemesis's rules, not mine; I'm simply going by what he's taught me.

As I already said: "It seems to have been nothing but a bunch of folks over here getting all worked up because of Nemesis."

Disrespectfully disagree.
Next time, Nemesis should sharpen his call to arms rhetorical skills before making his declaration. Perhaps he could read Shakespeare's version of the St Crispin Day's Speech in Henry V. That's a hell a call for the troops to rally.
We few, we happy few, we band of buggered;
For he to-day that argues on the web with me
Shall be my friend; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall avoid many bannings;
And gentlemen on kinder boards now-a-posting
Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,
And hold their avatars cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us in this great board war.
But then, maybe the apologists are tired of having their butts handed to them, time and time again. Battle fatigued and shell shocked, Nemesis has no fresh troops to mount a board war.
You have the kind of mentality the Wehrmacht really needed in 1945. Mindlessly triumphant.

Maybe we could conduct an experiment involving something a bit stronger than an allusion. Try posting a link over there to this page.
