And has also given us bio-weapons.

Our infrastructure has improved to the point where the greatest miracle following natural disasters is the relatively few people who perish (compared to the past).

Which is great.

I think the future is going to be both more awesome and more terrible then ever before.

Or as an optimistic cynic once pointed out:

We may be all going to die but we are all going to die in really cool and unexpected ways.

I can only hope we come up with viruses to reanimate the dead so we can have at least one good zombie apocalypse before the world fills the measure of its creation.

LOL. You tell me unmarried one. Have you learned to masturbate sans guilt yet? Do you confess it to your bishop in fits of crying repentance, or do you keep it to yourself, festering your soul believing that you are a sinning worm?

The Buddha would certainly agree with Nightlion, that we can make ourselves slaves to material possessions and suffer from wanting even more of them. They keep us from seeing the essential truths. That said, I am desiring a Coke right now.

If the god that JSJr concocted from 1820-1844 was for that time the vanguard of virtue, all-good, and that same Mormon god is now seriously lagging behind current society, by comparison to current society that Mormon god is morally deficient, I take that as a measure that society is getting better, and less 'evil'.

The 'world is so evil these days' is a fear-inducing boogeyman that religions have used for centuries. It's an oldie, but a 'goodie' tool for religious subjugation.

Nostalgia ain't what it used to be.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

I'd love to take credit! It's something I remember hearing once. I can't remember where I heard it, though.

I think we can blame at least 78% of the evil in this world on Dr. Peterson. Maybe more.
Whatever appears to be against the Book of Mormon is going to be overturned at some time in the future. So we can be pretty open minded.-charity 3/7/07

And here I thought the members of this board had gotten away from their perverted interest in my sexual habits. Sigh.
