I think it absurd that Dr. Shades thinks he can clean up this board by eliminating personal attacks. I'm all for free speech and letting people like anonymous posters sock puppet make his personal attacks.

I think Nemesis' point is simply that the attacks that come from this board are vile, uncivilized, sociopathic and borderline dangerous, and that anybody who has a hand in enabling such is on the sure path to hell and damnnation.

But I'm here to expose my personal name and reputation to the malicious malevolence of folks like sock puppet, Dr. Canine and Eric.
Yes, it takes Big Lawyer and his Big Lawyer mind to reduce category "TBMs" to being a personal attack.

No, no. You are the attention whore. Juliann is the Queen of Hearts...

Wait, here is the latest news bulletin: Juliann has just announced that you are to have your head taken off. Well that is a true story twist.

I minored in butt nipping during my undergrad years. I showed such promise in butt nipping that I even contemplated a double major during my junior year.

I suspected you were a skilled butt nipper, B23.

Personally, I find it very fun and maximus.

Some said I had the knowing touch of a pervert many years older.

It's one of the cornerstones of monogamy IMHO.

According to why me, there would be no perversion involved if you use at least light cotton.

Well it is summer. Light cotton is only sensible.

The honest nipper will be lauded as The Great Nipper in the hereafter.

Why Me, clad in light cotton, nipping something in the butt, is an image I don't want burned into my brain.

Looks like apologies and acceptance don't last long.

I take exception to your claim that I've attacked you as a person. You're anonymous, for one thing, and for another thing you shouldn't take it personally when a TBM says your posts are absurd.

If all you had said to me was that my posts were absurd, I would not have been offended. You stated that I didn't deserve to have a temple recommend, and also said something similar to Harmony. That is what I took offense to. You don't know me. I am anonymous to you. You are not my bishop (thank God), and have no right to make any type of judgments toward me, or anyone else here. There are some here who I have made in real life contact with, and feel a friendship toward, but you are not among those people.

Where did I negate my apology? You took a snippet of my post without reading the entire post, and assumed the worst. In the VERY NEXT SENTENCE, I acknowledged that I had attacked you in an unjust way, and apologized for it.

And I believe that this set the tone of the board which has been capitalized upon by other posters here. These personal attacks should have been nipped in the butt when they first occured. But instead, these attacks against Dan were encouraged. Most LDS posters have been personally attacked here: droopy, nehor, simon, yahoo bot, bcspace etc. But it all originated with scratch and dan and the free speech policy of the board.

I should really just leave this alone... but nothing should ever be nipped in the butt, Bud.

I agree, my dog always nips my SIL in the butt when ever she leaves our house, it makes her very angry and I can't get the stupid little dog to stop it.
